IMPORTANT INFORMATION: *30 minutes prior to photo shoot: Turn on all external and internal lights (including hood light over stove top AND fireplaces), make sure all windows are shut and blinds/curtains are open, double check all counters/tables/flat surfaces are clear of clutter and are wiped clean, floors are swept/vacuumed, no laundry in machines, and all personal photos and belongings are out of sight. If there are pets, please confine them to an area out of sight.


Preparation Instructions: The following is highly recommended ahead of time in order to produce the quality images desired. Some minor staging assistance will be available as needed on the day of appointment.

Exterior

  • Move all vehicles and trash cans from view

  • Remove any yard tools, hoses and clutter

  • Manicure the landscaping as needed

Interior

  • De-clutter all common surfaces (ie; countertops/desks/tables, including personal photos etc.)

  • Store wires and cords away if possible

  • Store clothing/hampers/shoes away in a tidy manner

  • Store bathroom/shower accessories away and out of sight (ie; bath mats, toiletries, scales etc.)

*Remember, less is more!

Cleaning

  • Thoroughly clean ALL windows inside and out as needed

  • Dust/wipe all surfaces (fans/light fixtures/blinds/decor, countertops, flat surfaces etc.)

  • Vacuum/mop

  • Have carpets professionally cleaned if necessary

Amenities

  • Check all light bulbs are in working order and are the SAME shade throughout entire space, (ideally white and not yellow)

  • Check all fountains/outdoor lights/fireplaces are in working order

*Commercial Spaces (hotels/businesses/venues/apt. complexes)

  • Close off all common areas, inform patrons/tenants ahead of time of scheduled closure

  • Use signage informing temporary closure of spaces

  • Ask tenants to de-clutter any balconies/patios as needed

  • Schedule photo shoot for minimal impact of guests/tenants
